Fourth year nursing student dragging his feet along the wondrous campus of UP Manila. UPDATE: Already graduating! 20 years old. Sometimes, I just feel so intellectual at several things. But most of the time, I feel plain clueless about stuff. So that's the left side of my brain.

Really wanted to take up Photography in college, so basically I'm a frustrated Multimedia Arts student. That's the right side of my brain. I'm interested in digital design, mostly tinkering in Photoshop and Illustrator when the opportunity rises.

So yeah, expect posts about Nursing and health in general, with an equally healthy dose of Photography, reblogs, and anything deemed artsy.

Doc Ikey and Doc Lee helping us discuss the complications of hypertension to the members of the community. The two of them have been pretty much enthusiastic in helping us in our program implementation. They have also been in touch regarding patients that may need collaborative care.
In our pocket seminars which will be done per sitio, we really want to clear up those misconceptions/wrongdoings such as:
If you’re hot-headed, you have high blood.
You can give your anti-hypertensive medication to a neighbor who’s experiencing symptoms.
You can revert back to your old medication if you didn’t like the new drug your doctor prescribed.
Avoiding fatty and salty foods, and yet enjoying glorious amounts of soy sauce and fish sauce as condiments.
Being religious to one’s medication schedule, and yet not doing any changes in one’s unhealthy lifestyle.
I hope these things will help them see hypertension as a more serious condition than they have thought of.
